Weighted dips

When I do weighted dips I find that it feels like my chest is being pulled apart

Has anybody had the same problem?

Is it growing pains?

Seen some great gains so dont want to stop HELP

Keep going with them, if you lean in whilst doing dips then the chest is opening up , its ok, if you want to feel less, you can put more enphesis on the triceps by dipping with a more upright stance

I've just come back from the gym and I'm no expert but weighted dips are one of the best exersizes for chest that I use.

well, i have always stood by :-

if u can lift the weight between 6 and 10 reps but no more, the weight is fine, if u are lifting below 6 and cant rep no more your lifting to hevy.
