Weight balance query?

Im going to the gym for 2 reasons;

i) build muscle.
ii) lose fat.

Im doin lots of cardio/fat burn and loads of weights. The problem s knowing what to eat. Now normally I know what sort of thing is suggested on here, but to be honest I'm sure that I would end up staying chubby with all those calories that you suggest!

On the other hand I do want muscle to grow, and I know they need feeding. What can I eat to strike a balance? I figure that protein supplements along with my regular diet at the moment is my best bet! At the moment my diet is like this:

Breakfast: Toast, Cereal, Eggs.
Lunch: Tuna sandwich, maybe some salad.
Tea: Chicken, Steak, Cold meats, Stew, Trad english meals etc...

Well it is very hard to build muscle and lose fat at the same time.

Your diet looks a little off also!

There is so many threads giving good advice, try reading through a few to get a good idea of what you need to follow.
