New to gym .... need all round help

Right haven't been in the gym for well over 12months and used to go for health/fitness reasons only. Anyway had a very bad year due to a spell in hospital and recovery etc and lost a lot of weight etc .... weigh at present just over 9stone .... need help on all aspects of training ..... food ...supplements also steroid use. Few friends have tried steroids on a short term basis with good results ....my aim is to put weight on and build good muscle definition in proportion to my height ...about 5'9 in height. I have no aspirations to become "massive" just healthy with a nice muscle definition

Any help and advice appreciated as i am brand new to all aspects of this

Thanks all

You'll be needing this then -

http://www.uk-muscle.co.uk/getting-started/2444-tips-beginners.html

you wont be wanting/needing Steroids if this is your aim -

"put weight on and build good muscle definition in proportion to my height ...about 5'9 in height. I have no aspirations to become "massive" just healthy with a nice muscle definition"

This is not out of reach for your average joe. Nail the diet and training and things will happen, but remember and I cant stress enough 'Diet is' the biggest factor, this i have learnt very quickly.
