Barbell rows - who does them?

I train in a pretty pants gym, but ive noticed lately that hardly anyone does any of the compounds. Most guys bench and a few squat, but theres only 2 who deadlift and ive never seen anyone else but me doing barbell rows

bunch of slack jawed faggots in my gym :p , they need to turn themselves into sexual tyrannosaurs, just like me

Am i wierd for doing them or do other people know something i dont?

plus how many of you guys do them?

cheeers mateys

Similar story in my gym, majority of the people are bench and bicep types.

A few people do dead's, rows etc. though, but most of the time when I walk in there everyone's standing around trying to curl too much weight.

Can't beat a good Barbell row in my opinion. Awesome for raw aggressive strength. I do them with an EZ bar as this sets your hands in a better position.:lift:

i do 'em...

never seen anyone else do them or deadlifts, and not many people bench or squat with good form either (ie moving the bar more than 3 inches ) but it is an Esporta so not a 'proper' gym really

what weight do you guys do for barbell rows ??

I dont do them because I don't kno how to do it properly and when I do I can't keep form, but I do the alternative to it, which is the machined version, I kno it aint as good!

Don't know why compounds are so unpopular they do so much more than skullcrushers. The guys that actually try compound lifts in my gym usually do so with apalling form. Most seem to think that going 4-5" down counts as a squat. I've had several people comment on how 'deep'I squat but in reality I don't really go much below parallel. I saw a bloke doing deads the other day it it literally made me wince his form was so bad, he was tall and awkward but his back was bending like a u-bend.
