![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The food not the country. I got me some turkey breast from Asda and on the nutritional profile it says: Average Values (ovenbaked) per 100g: Energy 603kj/142 cals, Protein 32g, Carbohydrate Nil, Fat 1.6g, of which saturates 0.5g. Now does that mean that I weigh 100g of the uncooked turkey and then oven bake it and i will be getting 32g of protein? or I cook the turkey in the oven and then weigh 100g of the cooked turkey and get 32g of protein? I need to work out how much protein I am getting. Any help please peeps? ![]() |

Doesn't the nutritional content of things change when cooked in different ways. Like spuds have more calories when you ovenbake them as opposed to boiling them. I'm in the dark here, as Pacino would say. |
