Thread: Models without Makeup

Was just sent a link to this, they seem to be compensating with push up bras

I think this is a good thing to do, show some of the young girls that aspire to an unobtainable goal that these models are actually just real women underneath all the makeup and photoshop.

I was always suprised by how average looking alot of models are when not painted up. Lots of hotties too though.

I photographed London Fashion Week last year and the models were with us in the media queue waiting to get in early...none were made up at that stage and you wouldn't have said that any of them, not one stood out as being beautiful...see them after they have been in make up for an hour and they are completely different all together...Different types of modeling though require a different look...a glamour model and a catwalk model are as opposite as chalk and cheese

Even without make up these girls are still attractive IMO, Yes some do look alittle off ; )

Only one of them seem to have the ability to smile!

All pretty average id say though!

most of them are very plain... and look like heroin addicts...

For high fashion though it's not about prettiness, more about quirkiness or having 'a look'. Which is why the likes of Lily Cole and Aygness Dean are massive in fashion, but you probably wouldn't look twice at them in the street. Spot who's watched too much America's Top Model!

I find their skinnyness rotten too. Some of them have broader knees than their thighs! Although, i suppose they have to be like that or they wont get employed.

when you see them up close the thing that really stands out is the poor quality of their skin...and the amount they smoke!
