Exclamation Fatherhood... did it alter your training..eating and life early on?

jw..pscarb and others whove been there with babies... how hard was it?

obviously all situations r different but...with different times looking after my daughter...meal times...training times....

    but..

obviously my daughter is my main priority... but wow its hard as hell to stick to training times when u have innoculation apointments... doctors... when she is poorly and up all night thus im up all night....

Did you guys adopt the process whereby you ate when you could,,,trained when you could? fitting in all my work around it too which is of secondary importance.

looking for some real life testimonys as i sit here watching her sleep.

Waited till mine was a year old before being able to train again - I'm sure it can be done just fine but i was struggling enough with work and other crap at the time so went for the "continue to be a beanpole" solution

I had a 2 year break from training when my son arrived.

It wasn't just the time etc, it was more financially for me.

I see you back Dutch, and with big changes. nice one!

I'm too heading in this direction cause after April my wife to be WANTS a kid and maintaining gym has always been a big concern. I'm either going to have to gym at lunch time or late at night. I prefer gyming around 9pm but who knows what my situation will be like in a year or so from now.

I stopped going when my daughter was born so I could help out etc, as a result i fell out of love with the gym and never went back for 6 years.

My missus is due in September so i know training is going to get a bit messed up.

Will just look to do a 2 day split and a few cardio sessions on the bike at home and see how it goes
