Time for Tyson to retire?

With Tyson's 6th career defeat last night in mind, do you think it is time he retires. Tyson was obviously just boxing for the money (he got $5 million for last nights fight in comparison to McBride's $150,000), but now claims that his boxing days are over, but boxers have said that many a time then returned 12 months later.
What do you think of a switch from Boxing to UFC or K1?

Fair comment Cap - when he was at his greatest he had a hunger for boxing and for proving he was the best.

yeah ive seen a few of his fights and he really was an animal but I guess over the years he has just maybe calmed down? Maybe age is getting to him? Or maybe he was never a true champion as any great of any sport, you need to adapt and evolve to stay at the top

how many rounds was the match? was it a good fight?

Tyson got dropped in the sixth, just after he had head butted McBride, he then went to his corner, sat down and didnt get back up. His corner men ended the fight. it wasnt a good fight to be fair.

Tyson has to call it a day.... I recon he would get even more battered if he went in to UFC.... not a great call for boxing there.... sure if he landed a punch, but he'd get taken to the ground and put into all kind of locks!

Boxers very rarely prevail in UFC or MMA combat. Infact they rarely make it past the minute mark of a no holds barred fight. Boxers are trained to use their hands which constitutes to about 10% of no holds barred fighting, MMA fighters are trained to use every part of their body plus submissions. The only Boxer who has ever had a reasonable amount of success in MMA is James Wearing, a former IBF Cruiserweight champion.

What do you think of a switch from Boxing to UFC or K1?

I dont think he would have much of a chance against the seasoned K1 fighters.

Could you even start to imagine him fight someone like Arlovski?
I reckon Arlovski would knock him out in the first minute.
