I was sat outside in the sunshine drinking my protein shake, when a rather "LARGE" man walked out of the gym and straight into Greggs. He then came and sat on the bench next to mine, still sweating heavily from his work out, seeming out of breath as he pulled out a big fat cake from a paper bag..!!

I sat there laughing to myself
lmao i would have chuckled too, i jsut remembered now about the inhalor incident i had lol ---
its happened more then once this and it is funny as fvck to me anyway,
been in the gym doing squats or deads and even though i take my inhalor before hand 9 times out of ten i will need it once more on the heavier sets and i had a guy say " do you use that to give you an edge mate and improve your lifts??"
of course i answer " no mate i use it for my fvcking asthma"
second time was actually a personal trainer asked me if i was using it expecting it to help me with my cardio and fitness and my reply was "i should fvcking hope it does as without it i would die from an asthma attack mate" he looked a bit sheepish made his appoligies and walked off, but he did say the next time i saw him that he knows guys that do use them for weight lifting without asthma

Not in the gym but I was on a bus once and heard a girl say "I hate it when you see skinny people jogging"

The joggers were in great shape and she was a fat cnut!

Your reply should have been "I hate it when fat people eat"

"I dont want to go gym, as its full of skinny/muscley people" Obviously people like that are born that way??

When I train with my good friend, he doesnt like doing certain exercises, as he isnt strong on them or he normally says... " I dont want to do that one, as you can lift more than me" which I always reply.. "Its not a fvcking competition" But he's stronger than me on most exercises.!!?

You know what is funny about that?

If you are a bodybuilder, everyone ASSUMES you are on steroids, and regards you as the devils spawn.

Yet as soon as someone is "on the steroids" from the doctor, even though it is practically an entirely different thing, its like they can't wait to tell everyone, wearing it like some kind of badge. A badge of ingnoramus-ness

I mean I've heard soooo many people say this it isn't even funny, yet I just know they will spit in my face if I so much as hint that I use steroids cvnts

Alot of people stand by this rule.. lifting heavy burns alot of calories and if your diet is spot you will burn fat.

Everybody wants to be GOOD, but not many are prepared to make the sacrifices it takes to be GREAT! You must develop a complete disregard for where your abilities end.

I had someone offer to let me wear their gloves and straps whilst I was doing narrow grip lat pull-downs. I just said 'nah thanks mate, gloves are for girls'

Re: Funny/Stupid stuff people say to you in gym?

Do I train at all your gyms?? I friggin love a mcDonalds and funnily enough I have it with Coke Zero I love Greggs pasties , eat chips eod and love icecream. If and when I look to do a contest maybe in a couple of years, I'll get serious about my diet. Why put yourself through all that pain, there is more to life than rice and chicken. It's winter, it's the law to have a bit of a tummy.

I have no issues with fat people binging themselves stupid, good for them for not being insecure. When it does bother me is when they whinge about being fat then eat a cream cake, ......ummm cream cake, off to greggs.
