  | E-mail Spam Filter Jeez, - I'm getting spammed like a mo' fo' today. 700 spam e-mails so far. Is there some kind of filter I can download to stop this crap. I'm getting 50 of the same e-mail at a time and its starting to p*$$ me off!! Cheers guys.

| I checked your contact us page on the website and it lists the code for the email address so any search spider that indexes the site ahs access to your email address straight away. You should be encrypting your email address in the html so that to the normal site visitor everything looks the same, but to the site crawling software they dont get access to the addres. Ill post some more info up here later today

| Thanks mate. Thats a nifty trick. I've also stopped our admin account being a 'catch all account' (so that blahdsfbla@bodyshapers...... doesnt go to this one). Still getting a few though.

| bump. still getting unwanted e-mails. 1341 so far today. Got rid of the ones just spamming to anyaddress@bodyshapers....com, but still getting them to our main accounts. Any software I can download to filter these out in outlook?

| Outlook 2003 will filter them for you. I don't know if there's anything for Outlook Express though.

| mailwasher will help you out, but it will take a little while to become useful... bascially as you receive spam you tell mailwasher that you dont want to receieve from that address again and the next time you receieve any spam it'll delete it automatically for you. http://www.mailwasher.net/ Free trial for you on there so worth a look I would definately chage the addresses on the site as the main fix though, as this will stop any future mail from being received.
