The PUMP!!!!
Ok, exposing myself as a newbie here but...I don't think I have ever experienced 'the pump'

What does a pump feel like for everyone? How long were you training before you got them? can you only get them on gear? Is it the same a muscles aching during a set?

(lets assume everyone gets the innuendo in what i've just written and try to keep this on topic for at least a page)

You don't only get them on gear.

Its not like the ache you get from lactic acid, its when you feel like your muscles are about to explode and they get rock hard, hence "pumped".

Its caused by blood being trapped within the muscle. Its a great feeling.

"The Pump" is when your muscle fills up with blood from excersie

Say you were doing a bicep workout and your last couple of sets your find your muscle movment starts to get limited and your bicep is rock hard and, well pumped.

Thats the pump, basically when the muscle you are working on fills with blood and look fuller, bigger and harder than normal.

Similar to getting a Hard-on
