I seen a guy using these last night in the gym, so asked him where he got them from and tried them out, outstanding much better than straps, and because of my old hand injury in my right hand I've always needed straps for very heavy sets in things like, deadlifts, bent over rows, shrugs, chins etc.


Check them out, I've just ordered a set for my self just a few minutes ago.

Ive got a pair of gold gym ones like that, i dont think the hook holds on properly :( although the hook isnt as wide as that one in the pic

mate I tried the ones the guy had in the gym, the bar is held really well almost feels locked in place

Might be worth me trying these out then, i know the golds ones were a let down, just didnt feel very safe at all. Although they are good for lat pull downs, just not dead lifts and shrugs i found

Biker, i have tried similar over here, and found that the metal buckle cut in a bit (whats it like on the 1 tons), also that the hook part slid on a couple of exercises, the ones on the 1 tons look black, are they covered with something to stop them slipping.

How do you think they would feel, when heavy deadlifting or similar?

well I only tried another guys set out so I wasn't doing max lifts, but they appear to grip the bar really well, I'll report back when they arrive as then I'll get to try them out properly.

the buckle appeared to be well shielded with the foam strap, it didn't cut in at that weight I was using, but I'll have to wait and see for sure.
