Which Car Next?

Hey Gang

Right, As you know, Im thinking about moving to Cyprus or Portugal soon, so that i can relax for a while, and devote more time on getting ready to compete in 2006.

If I dont move, Im looking for a new car, and im really stuck between 3 cars.

Need you help, especially if you have owned one in the past.

They are

1) Toyota Supra RZ Twin Turbo, 3000cc, 6 Speed Manual

2) Mitsubisi GTO Twin Turbo, 3000cc, 6 Speed Manual

3) BMW X5, 4800cc

Any input would be great, as each of these are over £15,000 so i dont want to get it wrong

Thanks

Paul

I voted supra. i'd rather walk than drive an X5, no offense to anyone who that drives one.

Well granted the first two are fast-as-fook, but with both you'd have to be vary of their history, whether its been screwed, whether the turbo needs changing, is it an import... Having said that they're both disirable cars. The BWM only looks right if some mother is sitting in it outside a school with all the other "off roaders" blocking up the street!

350Z All the way....

Yep, I've voted for Supra as well. Toyota engines are strong and refuse to quit. The Supra is great to look at and hours of fun to drive.

The GTO has a major advantage though, it's four wheel drive and four wheel steer. That can help the handling no end. It would be hard to beat a GTO in the wet!

I once worked for a multi-franchise dealer (which inc. Mitsubishi) and had the pleasure of driving the 3000GTO. That was the fastest car I ever tried, and I drove many of the best. Only bad point is that the rear view backwards is bloody terrible!

Personally i would go for the X5, but that is because i have always wanted one....My mate has a GTO and they are really crap on fuel and somebody that i dislike a LOT has a Supra!!

I would go for a Chrysler Crossfire if i could choose anything or a TVR Tuscan..mm mm mmmmmmmmmmmm.....

The Supra for sure. Cheap to modify and rock solid engine.

Many are running 500bhp+ with STOCK internals.

I would LOVE a TVR Tuscan :(

But a little to expensive atm, and at 23 years old, would prolly cost me as much in insurance as the car is! :(

Supra is tish, all the reports also agree with me. Mitsub is good. BMW is ok, but not for off road.

I would definately go for the TVR.

About 14 years ago i bought a lexus LS400 (one of the best cars i have ever driven - the older ones anyway) insurance then was nearly 900 pm fully comp, but was well worth it as there were only about 4 or 5 sold in the uk at the time and guys in rolls es and bentleys and stuff would pull up and gawp at it. Very cool at the time

The BMW All the way - so nice to drive and feel really luxurious and plush inside.

£15,000.00 - I think your talking more in the line of £46,000.00 for an X5.

However X3's are rather nice too!!!!!
