New Years Resolutions. - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

Its that time again,

Ok here goes - i've made a few resolutions, some short term some long term, Im going to make 2005 my year.

1) Clean my car out (it is horrible!)
2) Lose fat gain muscle! follow a strict diet from 5th jan until 5th may and then review,
3)Gain one new client every 2 months for my business
4) Start a journal on here charting my training, diet, supps, weight etc, (1st installment 5th Jan - look out for it!) Full list of goals for resolution 2 will be in it.
5)take time to catch up with some old friends
6)re-join my Rugby & Boxing clubs.

Anyone else making any resolutions?

Yeah, I'm going to attempt to make Govier look straight for once in his life...thats my most difficult one. Then I'm going to stand for president of united states, it seems they'll let any dumb asshole in. I feel I have a real chance. Also I aim to get some bigger muscles and lose the half a stone of extra weight I have put on over christmas due to excessive junk food and booze (read extra excessive for booze). And finally get a nice girl who's not out to destroy my life....

Oh, forgetabout the girls not destroying your life, they are naturals at doing that.
They will do it even without thinking about it.

I myself dont like making New Years Resolutions as I always break them so I just resigned to the fact of doing that.
The only New Years Resolution I am gonna make is to not make one.
I think I can do that one

always the case m8, my bro is a member of a gym and i remember him saying last year there were loads of them, but they only lasted a few weeks. thats why i have my own bench and weights at home, makes life much easier.

Even if you're not making any resolutions, I still think that it is a good time of year to take a step back and look at your life, without goals you can never get anywhere, Over the past few weeks my commitment to weight loss/fitness has dropped, so drawing a line in the sand and setting a date to start again is good for me - im one of these people that when I am focussed I have a will of iron.

What harm can it do to decide what you want out of life and take some steps towards achieving it?

My new year resolution is to work really hard at school and keep good hours in my part time job so I can buy a car.
