Re: Christian Bodybuilders

Well here's a good "Dawkins" type question....

"If there is a god and he created everything.....where did he come from"?

"Who created him?

God is the unmoved mover -

The unmoved mover is a philosophical concept described by Aristotle as the first cause that sets the universe into motion. As is implicit in the name, the "unmoved mover" is not moved by any prior action. In his book Metaphysics, Aristotle describes the unmoved mover as being perfectly beautiful, indivisible, and contemplating only the perfect contemplation: itself contemplating. The Unmoved Mover is also referred to as the Prime Mover

God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are the same person that's the mistery of the Holy Trinity.
He's Creator and Created.
So in a very simple way without getting too philosophycal about it..yes god has always been there!

Everybody wants to be GOOD, but not many are prepared to make the sacrifices it takes to be GREAT! You must develop a complete disregard for where your abilities end.

Re: Christian Bodybuilders

Well here is what's going to happen to organised religion....The world political powers are going to round on world religions starting with the churches of christendom the rest will then follow suit..the reason why?

Religion's constant interferance in politics...world religion will be done away with.

Revelation is a cracking read....to simplify : - world religion is depicted as a harlot, the beast the harlot rides represents the world political powers...the beast devours the harlot and kills her. World religion dies...

I am sure many of you will choke on your post work out shakes reading this...watch this space.

Re: Christian Bodybuilders

you want to try readin Erich von Daniken he believes that in early historic times earth was visited by E.T'S and they created human intelligence by deliberate genetic mutation, and apparently these visits were recorded in religion, mythologies and legends and that ths is how the egyptians and incas got there knoledge to build pyramids and study astrology, and thats were worshiping gods came from .some weird **** for sure

Re: Christian Bodybuilders

isnt lee powel a christian?

I dont mind if people belive in god, however everyone who takes part in an organised religion is a dweeb. Look at the money they plow into churches and places of worship, look how much money they have in the vatican yet there is kids starving in africa. Just an old fashion way of controlling the people.

Yes it is, I'm sure that's easy to see by the hyperlinks in the text. All you have to do is search unmoved mover in Google & it's the first link. It will go into more depth than the paragraph I took off the first paragraph on Wikipedia.

Re: Christian Bodybuilders

this is a deep thread....

i still believe in god, jesus etc etc....but as i have studied science too...i believe in science too!!!!
and because catholism is like a deep mysterious story full of legends and myths...it kind of makes me believe more in science....!!!!

but as said so many times here there are 2 sides to every story....picking up on the big bang theory....again,different beliefs will conjure up different versions of what the answer is!!!!

but every one to their own belief,we are all different by DNA so we do as said previously interpret everything different, some lead, some follow and some just watch!!!!!!

differences in everything...and thats what makes everything great cos nothing is the same!!!!!!

going back to the original thread post what makes you change,is it forced belief,is it a personal choice change....did these guys have ulterior motives, are they genuine,is religion a reason....do they think they have tried everything else so try their hand at this cos they have tried everything else....religion....is based on belief,so what you believe makes your religion more real....too much belief could send you up in the snow capped mountains living alone with a few sheep....beating yourself with a stick cos you had impure thoughts.....

seriously....everyone should have their beliefs, its a choice...and people can believe what they want to....i mean we still dont know what the hell is in the nucleus's of protons.....we dont know how the earth came about,we got good evidence of evolution, but is that godly thing or a scientific????
this is exactly what i think vince and a few people were getting at...freedom of opinion, choice and what you believe....2 sides to every story!!!!!!!

i have been both science & catholism routes and choose my religion to be bodybuilding and dj'ing(music)!!!!!!!!!
couldnt find a better religion at the moment!!!!!

and those scum who go around killing and wanting to bomb things cos of their religion....do not represent any religion but a belief based on some sh*te in the first place.....all religions i dont care where you are from, what religion it is....will almost all preach/promote a decent peaceful, love thy human and peace....love not war, those that use religion for acts of sick nasty crap are messed up......just like me cos i'm waffling and gone right off again, and lost what i was talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!
