![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Strange Pains! Anyone experienced this before: Trained legs on Monday, after my last set of sguats I was genuinely convinced I was about to pass out/have heart attack, couldn't get my breath and heart was racing, feeling dizzy for about 2/3 minutes, then had a pounding headache in the back of my skull for about an hour after, but then was fine. Day after fine, tired legs but nothing unusual Wednesday I woke up with aching elbows! Trained Chest/Shoulders Weds evening and couldn't lock out my left arm properly on Dumbell Inclines, stuggled through, fine with flat bench. Thursday, all day I had what I can only liken to growing pains you got as a kid, from my shoulder down to my wrists - this all started in my left shoulder (which I've dislocated previously so I put it down to that at first), but it spread to both arms, rest of my body was fine, pain was that bad in the evening I skipped training (back). Felt like stabbing pains but couldn't pinpoint directly where the pain was in the arm. Woke up this morning absolutely fine. Never had this before, worried me at the time - anyone any ideas? |

![]() | mate I have experienced this aswell...I think it's the weight of the bar pressing on the top of your spine that gives you the head aches...I get them bad some times...I do squats after leg press and go as low as possible so I need the least weight possible to sit on my spine...that could also lead to shooting pains through your nerves in your arms... |

Headache might be from not breathing and holding your breath. Stiff joints might be from depleted potassium and magnesium and sodium your electrolites.
