Re: New butcher can get ANY meat in...what should I try?

ostrich is really nice and quite low in fat, not overly 'meaty' tasting either which was good for me. worth a try

Re: New butcher can get ANY meat in...what should I try?

i've always wanted to try rattlesnake and deer, buffalo/bison aswell, meant to be very lean and red. i want to try croc aswell to give it some of its own medicine.

Re: New butcher can get ANY meat in...what should I try?

ostrich is the best meat in my opinion, virtually no fat, extremely high in protein, tastes awesome and surprisingly very cheap

Where i am i think the only thing besides deer i could get is a nice possum or squiral

Exotic meats dont cost that much when you look at how lean it is i mean how often can you find a beef steak with only a couple of grams of fat but bison ext is all like that
