My little sister produced photos of me in my teens recently at a barbeque. No one likes looking at a skinny piece of straw so I confiscated them!! Truly embarrasing stuff.

You have inspired me too, and your comments have always been positive and helpful. Thank you.

I am fourteen weeks from my first contest in 23 years. I am still trying to decide whether to post a blog about my final twelve weeks preperation. Would anyone be interested in seeing examples of my diet/training/life? My before photos are truly awful but I will be brave and put them on the blog if I post it.

How come none of us have big, high resolution photos of how we looked before? I have searched for some in vain. Perhaps we didn't really want to be photographed!

Your competition photos are really an inspiration.

I typed out my new blog yesterday, only to have it wiped out twice by my server going down. Don't you just hate it when that happens.....

I have put it onto the Members photos section as "52 fit and proud of it". Didn't want it to disappear again. I Will be posting some new photos at the end of this month to go with it.

Thanks again for all the positive advice and encouragement, you don't know what a difference it has made to me.
