Hello from Plymouth - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

Hi everyone!

My name is Simon and I'm new here so please be gentle! I've joined this forum as I would like to start growing some muscle. I'm 33 now and not getting any younger so it's now or never. Anybody out there willing to give me the benefit of their knowledge would be greatly appreciated. So please say hello - I'm a friendly guy! Who knows, I may even make friends with people on here and grow a nice muscled body in the process!

No stats at the moment, I'm not that great! As for the diet - well, I'm starting on a fresh page and don't really know what to be eating. A total noob, I'm afraid!

Hello, Good luck with your training. I heard theres a realy good gym down there for strongman. I cant rember the name (think its a training yard..)

Lost Soul Plymouth is a great place...

Simon look at stuart core's gym (Core Fitness) it is not the biggest but it is well equiped with a great atmosphere

I Love it
I frequent Plymouth most months and if you stick your fingers in your ears, squint when you see people and open your eyes when you get to the scenery, it is one of the most attractive places in the UK

Thanks everyone for the welcome.

Pscarb - I've heard of Stuart Core's gym and it's quite near to where I live. I thought that it would be a tad bit too hardcore for a mere beginner like me! Have you worked out there before?

I guess Plymouth is a good place to be if you're on holiday! :-) Give me Bournemouth as that's a really nice place to be with a great seafront that goes on for miles!

Conversely may save you a massive amount of time and iron out any misconceptions you have RE training, diet and rest cmpared to a commercial gym full of ******************* ************** ******
