Where to holiday away

Guys,

Help me out with a some advice on where to stay this long weekend. Looking for somewhere within about 3 hours max driving from south London (wimbledon).

My gf wants it near a beach and will probably have upto 8 people coming along.

Can anyone gives me some pointers on where to go and decent places to stay? Self catering holidays apartments?

Cheers.

Re: Where to holiday away

Bournemouth and the Jurassic Coast (Poole/Wareham/Studland Peninsula) are within 3 hours drive and have good beaches and weather. Also a fair amount to do down there. I've done both, though Bournemouth was a stag do, and had a good time.

ahh that may make a difference... if they are allowed into the uk then you might assume that the rest of europe is also open to them... check though...

WOW... that does look nice. I'm going to have to head down there sometime and check that out.

Cancelled weekend due various reason beyond my control. So guess I'll do some much needed cardio if possible.

Thanks for the advice though guys.
