I'm like a few of the others - I give up reading it because I'm not wasting my time attempting to read something from someone who can't be bothered to type words properly.

It's not hard really is it. I bet it takes them longer to type in their idiotic text form than it does actual English.

I got a text from 1 of my mates a few weeks back and i couldnt understand the bloody thing eventually phoned him up and got him told to text in english!!!

It takes far longer to read and also sometimes I dont know the acronyms either.

another forum i post on filter it.

so ne 1 becomes something like ' i am a newie who uses text talk because my brain is so small'

Is there an add on within the boards software to include a spell checker ? This might also help improve the ability for others to read the posts more effectively.

there is a spell checker in firefox but i don't know of any vbulletin add on checker.

txt spk should be banned.. completely...

I know with Invision you can do stuff like word substitution - SDF has that in there forum for money = monkey, CoC = Cock ect...

Im not sure about Vbuilletin - Im sure theres a mod out there to do it.
