Alot of people on here apparently have Xbox's. But if you can offord it, Ps3 all the way. You seirously wouldn't regret it.

I've got a ps3 and hardly ever play it....don't get the time.

It is superb though

360 = More games (at the minute!) and online gaming costing £££ or $$$

ps3 more expensive but free online cheap to upgrade hard drives, not sure about 360, and as TH&S said its a BD player (Blueray Disc) which means that eventually games can be as big as 50GB. Mrs bugged me to get oblivion Game of the year edition "How bloody big is that game??! lol.

If you can afford it mate go PS3 all the way it also has a built in web browser, customizable menus etc etc

As a pure games machine. The 360 is better. It has a more elegant hardware architecture which means it's easier to program for. The upshot is that there are more games available for it and that most multiplatform games that come out on PS3 and 360, the 360 will be the better one. Better texture resolution, smoother framerates etc...

Also, if you want to play online then Xbox live is just killer.

I've got both and I always buy by game for the 360 for the above reasons.

No, if you want a really good upscaling DVD player/bluray player then the PS3 can't be beat.

Ive got a PS3. Use it to play DVDs and of course Blue Ray. Use if for that more than games. Though, will be getting the new GT on Friday when its out. More games for the 360 at the moment, but they are still working on getting the most out of t he PS3 so the best games will be yet to come.

I've got both and there's no competition its' PS3 all the way. Build quality, looks and feel of the whole thing makes you feel you actually bought something worth the money that doesn't sound like it might take off at any minute with its excesivley noisey cooling fans which don't actually cool it down and causes the ROD (ring of death ).
Xbox 360 although has alot of fanboys out there only because they didn't wait and spend their money more wisely. PS3 is more bang for your buck.

Futureproof yourself and get a PS3.

360 for me, mainly for reasons mentioned above. That and I love the Halo games

i have a 360 and love playing on xbox live but its syarting to **** me off showing disk errors all the time, its good enough for me though

I haven't go either but if i was going to buy it'd have to be PS3 -
build quality
Blu-ray (if you are after a blu ray dvd player it's like getting a games console for free)
