How 'lairy' is your hometown?
After my mate got his face bricked last weekend in town it occured to me that, i dont know of many towns that are 'nice'.

so my question is:

How lairy is your home town and how likely is it that on any night out it will kick off?

Still does have army but nothing compaired to what it used to be like when it was the Para's home town. To be honest they kept things under wrap when they were here. Trouble broke out yes, but people stepped outta line they new the para's would bang em out. Now its just a proper **** hole since they moved out. The Yardies moved in etc

I remember when the falklands war had finished and my mate came back home, we had gone out for a night out on the **** and on the way home he decided he was hungry and wanted something to eat but discovered the chippy was closed so he kicked the fookin door down and proceeded to try and eat these frozen pies, hahaha he was a fookin animal

mines not too bad on a night out. the lads on the door do get load of **** though and tbh, alot of the lads on doors round here are pricks, fist first, brain later, even against 8 stone nothing lads in pink t-shirts. i mean you get alot of sound doormen but they are in the minority atm. i've seen loads kicking off, but if anyone has ever tried anything with me or a mate they get as good as they give.

Where I'm originally from in Northern Ireland isn't that lairy really, though it's probably worse now than when I lived there. In saying that, an English friend at university in Belfast said that he felt safer in Belfast on a night out than he did at home in Shrewsbury. Must be something in the mentality at home that things never really kicked off - worse could happen.
