| Flaming of new members Guys this has to stop, there has been a few instances where some of the members have jumped on a new member thinking they where someone else or a troll without any evidence.
on one occasion today a new member a genuine new member came on the board and sought advice just as many of you did and still do but she was jumped on for no reason.
thankfully the member in question accepted the MOD teams apology and has stuck around.....
this has to stop guys you all where newbies once and wanted guidance from these boards unfortunately some of you seem to think you are far to experienced to pass on this information to new members but seem to think verbally abusing them is ok.....
We have a function that tells us if a member uses 2 logons if this happens and we think it is an abuse of the board WE not YOU will stop it....if you have any issues with any other member on this board report them to the MOD team and WE NOT YOU will sort it.
if it carries on guys i will ban those responsible....

| Re: Flaming of new members I absolutely agree with this. It used to go on in the gear section with all the gurus slating someone for not getting their PCT or whatever sorted or telling them they were too young for gear.
Well when I first did a course I didnt know what PCT was and didnt do any for years now I know better but I wouldnt have appreciated some of the comments that people throw about.
There is a button to report out of line posts so use that please.
This board is a business first and foremost, more members = highr advertising revenue and hits on google etc on of the techie people will probably explain better but if we get guys/girls leaving cos of bullying then we wont be the excellent forum we are now.

| Re: Flaming of new members I agree the flamming has to stop.
That is one of the biggest reasons I am here today is because of no flamming.
I mean, I dont mind some frendly banter, but all people need to be respected.

| Re: Flaming of new members I can't even spell condescension, I had to copy and paste it from your post.
The act of condescending or an instance of it.
Patronizingly superior behavior or attitude.
