With all dues respect after that last comment you have opened yourself up to be flamed.
Its like joining a Irish forum and saying you are not getting a response to the questions you ask because the Irish members are thick.
Im sorry but if you join a forum and then suggest something so silly and very insulting and uneducated then you are opening yourself to get flamed. Perhaps in your time quote "watching in the wings" you may have read on forum etiquette and things not to say on a forum of bodybuilders.

IMO people get flamed for:

Talking shat
Being irresponsible yet seem oblivious to help given
Those who ask a question, get help and ask the same thing a week later
Making silly statements that are potentially insulting to members

Everybody is a newbie at everything they do but there is a way of approaching things.

It is quite tame on this board for flaming.

Re: Flaming of new members

To be fair, this board is very tollerant of idiots (thus i remain without being run off )

Compaired to MD/Getbig this place is like a carebear reserve. If you want to see true flameing go there.

Sure if you post a stupid coment expect some heat but your not going to get incenerated like other boards. Theres a redemptive element in many of the replys that silly posts get in the most part. By that I meen theres always a way for a member to repent and rehabilite themselves in the eyes of other posters.

That rarely happens on other forums.

Or maybe it's just a bit frustrating answering the same questions again and again.

The experienced members give us newbs their time and experience for free.

I have learned loads on here. I find it a nice (virtual) place to be.

Re: Flaming of new members

I honestly dont think people get flamed on here for asking stupid questions....

Its when they start trying to defend the stupidity that the issues arise IMO

Re: Flaming of new members

Oh yah!!!

I do love this board.
But there has been an increase of shortness lately from what I have seen.
I also noticed a few members decided to leave, which is not cool.
I hate the American flamming boards, I have no patience for them.
At least on this board there is some control over that type of posting.

I dont mind guys getting off a bit of steam, but when they continue to pick on the same members this irritates me. Take it to a PM.
I know everybody wont like everyone.
But having a bit of thicker skin would be a good thing.
Certain personalities just dont jive with others, that is the way it is.

I also think that some intillegent people join the boards can have a diffrence of oppinion, that is ok, but insults or personal attacks are not.

I had decided to cut back on the I love you posts as another board made mention of this on a thread over there and it was suggested it was silly.
I will post them up now and again when I am feelin the love.

But in the end, if you treat others with respect, you will get it back, I find it is a common courtisy(sp) to do so.
That and I could probably be your guys Dad so I have to act like that (my age).....lol

Sometimes I am afraid my humor will be taken the wrong way...........I want a beer right now....lol

I was wondering who this thread was originally started about? Would it be coincidence that I joined this very same day and was a little flamed for asking about clen?! Hahaha!
