Joe should win this one. Not sure Hopkins has the power anymore to knock joe out and I can't see joe loosing on points.

Hopkins is the best spolier in the buisness. Joe shuld do it but dont be supprised if Hopkins makes it look like hes doing more than he actually is.

Some say its gonna be an ugly boring fight but im hoping Joe boxes his head off.

Calzaghe to win in my opinion. Hopkins will try to make it a dirty fight, its his only chance, but joe will have his head screwed on too tightly for that crap.

Bernard has never been ko'd in his career, infact hes never been down on the canvas. I want calzaghe to prove that he is THE GREATEST LBS 4 LBS fighter in the world (better than mayweather) by ko'ing hopkins.

Taylor is moving to supermiddle and has a fight set with roy jones, meanwhile pavlik is fighting john duddy (all irish american bout)...so it sets it up nicely for calzaghe to dominate hopkins and win, the calzaghe to fight pavlik and win, then finally for his last fight (providing jones beats taylor which he might not) a farewell fight for joe calzaghe, calzaghe vs roy jones...calzaghe to win this and then be remembered as arguably the greatest supermiddleweight fighter ever.

Not the yanks mate, not the americans.

They still dont rate him because he hasnt fought over there...but joe will fuk them up, hopkins is getting beat, pavlik is getting beat, roy jones is getting beat and if dawson or tarver want some of him then theyll get beat aswell.

In my eyes he is aswell, definately up there with ray leonard and hagler.

When you look at ricky hatton, he isnt a complete fighter, he is a great fighter and fantastic at what he does, but he got beaten by mayweather because his weaknesses were exploited. Hatton's defense isnt good at distance, he doesnt have a jab either...these are things that mayweather capitalised on and when hatton was frustrated and tired mayweather picked through the openings and ko'd him.

Joe is very simmilar to mayweather in the way that he can exploit an opponents weakness. All the great fighters have this ability, ali had it in particular.

Joe can alter the tempo, alter the tactics, unfight, fight outside, fight on the ropes, counter punch, great jab, incredible speed and combos and brilliant stamina.

Hopkins is a counter puncher, i cant see how he is gonna counter calzaghe when joe is throwing 100 punches per round at angles that hopkins wont even see. Hopkins will be too busy defending, whilst hopkins has great stamina esspec for his age, he hasnt fought anyone of calzaghe's calibre for ages, infact the last time he did was against roy jones jr and he lost that fight. He lost against taylor twice and whilst taylor is a v good fighter, he is not on calzaghe's level at all, he got battered by pavlik and beaten the second time comprehensively.

Hopkins thinks he can deal with calzaghe, the arrogant americans think that hopkins can deal with calzaghe but thats because they dont know who calzaghe is and what he stands for, he will go over there and give them a performance simmilar to roy jones at his peak. They will see.

Hey check out my new post that shows what a prat hopkins is, the pressure is getting too him...lol in the press conference calzaghe responded to hopkins outburst at steve bunce when steve said he shouldve bought warmer socks if he was cold...joe came into the press conference and gave hopkins a present, a pair of fine cashmere socks, hahahahaha.

calzaghe's problem was he fought reletivly unknowns a lot of the time and when he beat jeff lacy people stsrted to take him seriously, but i would say eubank was a bigger win for JC than lacy,
joe is a good fighter fast and strong,and like robdog says hopkins is a spoiler and hopefully JC wont let hopkins dictate the fight.
Did anyone see the hopkins roy jones fight? that was gonna be the biggest fight of the decade and when it happend it was a big let down!! i hope this fight will be a thriller.

Calzaghe is the best Super Middle of all time no doubt in my mind as for best Lb for Lb i just dont think he has beaten enough big names and imo this is mainly down to Frank Warren.

Frank has this habit of starting talks with a major fighter then making rediculous demands and when the major name says go fook yourself Frank then turns round and says oh the fights off and put his fighter against a nobody. Peopel have caught on to this though imo.

Saying al this though im not sayng hes not the best Lb for Lb i just dont think he can be voted best Lb for Lb with the wins he has when you compare them to Mayweather.

I know Mayweather is hated etc etc but you cant take the fact away that hes an amazing boxer.
