Patch those books are awesome.

I'm going to get them for my nephew.

Re: Good Books?

Katharine Kerr "THE EPIC DEVERRY SERIES"
im now on book 7 of 13.
7. A Time of War by Katharine Kerr

theres a lot of welsh words in it ,but i just make my own words up for them
suits me LOL
it is complicated with interwoven time lines
but it rates up there with the sword of truth.once your in you dont want to stop.

Re: Good Books?

paul britten 1st the jigsaw man and picking up the pieces-psychological profiler-fascinating and really interesting-i had sussed out huntley for soham before he became suspect

This was great book he was involved in the Fred West case, and he went into a bit to much detail of the Jamie Bulger case.

Re: Good Books?

Currently reading 'No Country for Old Men', so far so good, once I got used to the style in which it is written.

Anyone seen the film?

Re: Good Books?

Just read Redemption by Stanley "Tookie" Williams all about how he was involved in starting the Crips and ended up being nominated for the nobel peace prize for his work in trying to reverse the Us gang culture(sounds a bit hypocritical since he was one of the founders) but was a good read, made me see things in a different light. To Raikey, give a Pratchett book a go i've read most of them, the man has a very dry sense of humor think he'll appeal to you. They don't have to be read in order you can read them as stand alones but they do follow a semblance of order which makes more sense if read as a series.
