Re: red wine

No its bs the chemical whatever it is in wine needs to be consumed in higher doses to be really beneficial and you can buy this in a pill without the need to drink.
If you like a glass of red wine by all means drink one on the weekend but having one each night is being an alcoholic who trys and pretends they are being healthy.

Re: red wine

Nope sorry. alcohol itself in small quanities actually lowers cholesterol and blood pressure having protective qualities on the heart. Red wine also contains antioxidants- these may be found in other foods however.

Re: red wine

i would agree with con about drinking every night just been an excuse. I love red wine but strictly keep it to the weekends, as it wolud f*ck with my work and my training. it is strong stuff, however it does help with digesting food and breaking down the sat fats so yes a little is good.

Re: red wine

I'd just like to say heavy consumption of alcohol lowers endogenous testosterone production to 40% of its previous level for 2 full weeks....

Re: red wine

Chris, Mallet on my board drinks red wine quite often and loves the benefits from it, if anyone knows whats good and bad for you then he does IMO, in moderation of course.
