The one shot from the gun due to gravity pulling it down.

the bullet that has been fired will hit first because its been thrusted by the gun?? something to do with velocity and ****???!

if wind conditions are perfect, they will hit the floor at exactly the same time. a fair bit of boring maths and equations are needed and im on my way out.

lol not really,....

gravity will pull any object to the ground at the SAME TIME and is not effected by forward motion

god i,m bored...lol

the bullet u dropped because the bullet fired would be traveling parrelell to the ground (foward) not down

Re: if a plane is on a massive treadmill.....

i would say it makes sense the plane would move, unlike cars the plane doest rely on the wheels to drive the thing forward. yes the plane has wheels but the actuall jet engines are not touching the conveyor belt and therefore can thrust the plane into take off.

Re: if a plane is on a massive treadmill.....

but dosent the plane need some initial forward motion to create the lify to get the wheels off the conveyour belt in the 1st place,....

gravity is still forceing the whells onto the runway until it can be overcome by the pressure difference created, which is created by forward motion. and it begins again,....

sheeesh .....

Re: if a plane is on a massive treadmill.....

No it wouldn't take off as the belt only moves the wheels of the plane and not the air around the plane which is needed for the plane to take off. Lift is created by the angle air travels across the wings and in this case the air and the plane are stationary relative to eachother, only the wheels of the plane are moving.

It's similar to dropping a coin in a car from the roof to the floor at 100mph, it doesn't smash through the back window, it hits the carpet.

Terminal velocity? The maximum speed a weight can reach in freefall. The fired bullet is accelerated past this speed and the air resistance will cause turbulence upsetting the trajectory of the fired bullet making it hit the floor quicker than the one simply dropped, as the dropped one does not have a chance to reach any sort of high speed.

My theory.
