To be brutally honest - no amount of weight gain 2000 or whatever product will make much difference... Most of these powders etc. are only any use as pre or post workout or first thing in the morning. Reason being they fall straight through you - as a guy with a naturally high metabolisim they will be of even less use to you as a dietary supplement. Essentialy you need to eat regularly (every 2.5-3 hours) - guys like us will burn off a meal in that time easily leaving us catabolic (muscle eating) until next meal time. You may not notice it - but it's happening. So now you're eating 6-7 times a day... But what do you eat? Simple: Protien, fibre, carbs, fat. NO SIMPLE SUGAR (this will spike your insulin levels and cause you to go into fat storage mode - not conducive to muslce building). A good meal needs to centre around protien (fish, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb, eggs, cottage cheese). Then you absolutely must eat it with fibre (slows everything down allowing your body to use those nutrients instead of crapping them out) - so green veg, carrots, apples, etc. Now you also need some fat (but don't worry too much for now as most food has some in anyway). As for carbs - the key here is to eat complex carbs not simple ones... Again it's slowing down absorbtion, reducing fat storage: avoid white bread, white pasta, white rice, noodles etc. Go for seedbread, wholemeal pasta/rice, potatoes. The other thing that is as important as eating like a pig is that you get decent sleep each night... Unless you are getting a minimum of 7 hours, you are wasting your time with everything else. Hope that helps

![]() | Re: Fed Up! Thank you for your responses. Seems i need too increase my intake alot and eat alot more, in alot shorter intervals. Also i was told not to work out out initially when trying too put on weight? As i would just burn it off with my fast metabolism? |

| Planning | Re: Fed Up! High metabolism my ass what a cop out of course if your eating 2000 cals or so per day you wont gain weight but people then claim to have a high metabolism. Get 4000cals down your throat EVERY DAY and the weight will fly on. Bulk powders are great ONTOP of a sound nutritional program. Oh yeah steriods will probably put a stone on you big ****ing deal you will be a measly 11 stone and then you come off and lose it again and feel ****ty and give up or just up the doses. You need 1 hard year of eating and training and i can bet with no doubt you will be 200lb and not fat. |

This is just an example of what you could do BUT you need to do barbell exercises nothing like bar bell curls as its a waste of time for you now. Most important is write down every thing you eat every day and create a meal plan you can stick to that = 4000cals every day NOT JUST EAT 6-7 times as that means nothing hell i could eat a jaffa cake and call that a meal i mean proper balanced meals. | |
