Ipod Nano

I have a lot of songs on my ipod that i want to keep on. But i had to do a full factory reset on my computer last week. Now i dont have any music on my compter and i know that when i connect my ipod i will loose all the songs on there.

Anyone know how to prevent it.

Re: Ipod Nano

This will help:

http://www.sturm.net.nz/downloads/sharepod/SharePod.zip

Download that then copy it to the I-pod via windows. I willl allow you to copy all the music from the I-pod to windows. You can then let the Itunes wipe the Ipod and then import the songs from windows.

All the purchased ones (from itunes) are backed up on line so you can download them again for free.

Re: Ipod Nano

Try "YamiPod" or "Tunes Transfer v.ipod". I've used them both, YamiPod is easier of the two.

Re: Ipod Nano

Cool sorry mate only just got online. I should have said, basically when the i-pod connects to the PC you copy the .exe to the Ipod (through My Computer) and then Run it from the Ipod in windows. Then its easy to copy all to PC

I havent used the software the other guys mentioned, but it may be better, but share pod worked great for me

Re: Ipod Nano

I think it still warns you and asks if you want to wipe the IPOD when the librarys are different.

I was in the same situation myself recently and bought a program called copyipod it was like $5 or somthing and was really easy and worked very well.
