   | Calzaghe V Hopkins Well after a dissapointing weekend for Ricky Hatton there were reports about Hopkins and Calzaghe squaring up to each other in Vegas over the weekend. I believe a fight is going to happen between these 2 I for one hope to see this happen and see Calzaghe beat this guy across the atlantic. I think Joe needs to do this to gain the reputation because he only has been fighting in the UK. What to you guys think???

So the sly fcuker hopkins plays the old race card and without doubt the sales for this fight will go through the roof . Anyway IF it does happen i got joe to stop him in the early to middle rounds |

| Re: Calzaghe V Hopkins Calzaghe apparently wants a 50/50 spilt of money...if he sticks to his guns then the fight will never happen because Hopkins can earn more elsewhere.

| Re: Calzaghe V Hopkins I don't blame Joe for wanting the money, he's the champ, 20+ title defences and still he gets nobheads like Hopkins saying hes better etc....well put up or stfu Bernie boy. A lot say Floyd is the best lb for lb boxer but a lot forget about Joe, hes had the same amount of title defences and he's still unbeaten.

I don't think Joe has anything more to do to gain in his reputation, he is and always has been awesome, from eubank 10 years ago to lacy,kessler etc. Tbh I don't think Hopkins wants the fight or he would make it happen instead of dragging negotiations out, remember he is getting on quite a bit now, and Joe's at the top of his game. Joe has not been beaten in 17 years, which is awesome, and for me is easily the best pound for pound fighter out there. Just because he fights in the UK the yanks don't give him the respect he deserves, but that's their problem not his, and he has nothing more to prove. But I would like to see him bash Hopkins, as I reckon he would be just too quick for him...similar to Mayweather-Hatton. Joe is awesome, but you have to credit his father as well. He is a superb trainer, and for me the best trainer in the country by a long way.
