Gym hunting!

yo ho I looked at 4 gyms today...took me and hr and a half to get out the second 1 he went on wouldn't let me go was desperate for me to sign on...was a real posh place tv's on the cardio machines..and they had everything well light place on cues nothing...was a bit too pricey though. I still faniced would of joined to if If it wsn't for me moving back to britain in 4 months to kick daps **** (A dark room preferbly)!...

But anyway when we did escape me and my mate we decided to join the first gym we went to. So saturday we gonna join up and get going get some more weigh buy in some good quality meats...I have been working out at home and have been ill the last month and a half.. 3 weeks food poisoning. I waited 2 weeks to get better then i got the the damn flu and still have it but hoping to be tiptop by sat feel good. I finally decided to join a gym with others and get advice of the guys and workout with my friends and the likes. Because they can really push me to do more and to acctually lift to my max...

but my ask when choosing a gym what would you say this is the point to this thread...what would you look for what are the main reasons for joing a spefic gym whats the most important to you? Is it closeness, the cost, the equipment, the people what really makes your gym experience what it is? And what would you have me do for looking out for a gym cuz I don't think you just join any old gym right..cuz u need to find the right enviroment and atmosphere...any gyms that you would recommened not for myself as I live in Sweden but other users.. Would like to hear what u guys have to say

Re: Gym hunting!

In no particular order:

A sensible distance from home (just cos I travel quite far to work so my time is limited)
A squat rack, plenty of equipement
Equipement that's safe
Must open early and stay open late

Re: Gym hunting!

My preference....hmmmmm....
#1) Daps must not be allowed to join, enter, or even come within 500 metres of the place
#2) Same as invisible kid
#3) Preferably some nice minge working behind reception to stare at

Re: Gym hunting!

Erm okay...

They should have lots of light weights - you know like 2kg dumbbells, areas for you to do rack curls and dumbbell tricep kick backs... what else... it should be mainly bicep machines...

Re: Gym hunting!

good free weights and squate racks, distance from home, gotta open early for me, decent price and fanny is not important as I go to train, not perv (the only hour of the day I am perv free).
