Depends how salty, but if it's really salty they might wanna think about reducing it for the sake of their own health. You don't like it and we all know that high amounts of salt isn't really doing you any favours - just politely tell them you don't want it. |

Explain your reasons. However, if it is someone else, someone you visit occassionally then judge it as you see fit. Either tell them the food is sh1te and spit it out or just grin and bear it. |

If you are worried about just coming out and saying her food is rank just bring it up in a jokey kinda way and laugh about it so she wont feel as hurt maybe! I remember terrible experiences having dinners at my grandparents as a kid on boxing day with salted water as gravy, cold soggy chips and meat that had been cooked since easter so i feel your pain lol |

It's difficult to be polite and not to refuse food especially if it's cooked and ready to eat for you on the table. I always end up with an argument with these issues, at the end of the day they are you own family and are just merely cooking for you, just think of all the people in the world without food and those who have no one to cook for them. |

Fridays especially, she is happy just having pasta for tea whereas I have been eating it all week and may have mackrel or egg on toast. If it that bad you try doing the cooking that way she may learn where she is going wrong. |

Beware how you tell her...women store moments like this in a file at the back of their brain, the title of the file is "Argument comebacks and winners" It might be all but forgotten in the distant future, but she will never forget it, and will use it to nail you to the wall when she needs a "get out of a tight spot" comeback |
