What do you wear to the gym?

Might sound abit gay, but seeing as usually i wear shorts from when i was about 14 and an old tshirt to the gym, i thought i could up my repetoire of gym clothing.

What website would you recommend to buy clothes off etc?

Discuss :P

Re: What do you wear to the gym?

I think because i am going all out with diet, routine, gym membership body and mind it seems only right to make sure i am wearing proper clothing too.

I thought about wearing old clothes and then thought no, i have to get proper gym clothing, everything has to be right.

Thanks for the extreme site recommendation, i'll check it out!

Re: What do you wear to the gym?

i personally wear my birthday suit.. nothing gets in the way.. no loose clothing! fits perfectly..

nah, singlet and shorts here... normal t'shirts you cant "watch your technique" in the mirror while your doing preacher curls (side on from the mirror of course, so you can make sure the bicep is contracting )

Re: What do you wear to the gym?

I just wear whatevers the most comfortable for the days training. Legs means the short-shorts pop out and a thick t-shirt so dont have squat bar across bare skin.
Chest and back something loose and open like a stringy
arms and shoulders sleevles.
Just wear what's most comfortable for the day, but make sure you aint cold in gym. Has anyone else found gyms are going overboard on the aircon at the moment..serious chill factor

Re: What do you wear to the gym?

The gym I use now is a spit and saw dust gym, or a 'proper' gym as Nine Pak would say.

If I turned up all 'ponced' I would look out of place. I therefore wear old tracksuit bottoms or long shorts, a tee-shirt if its legs day (cos of the bar accross neck and the blasted pads on the standing calf machine). If very hot I may wear a vest.
