![]() | Re: What do you wear to the gym? Hi Mate, i love to wear MMA shorts coz when im doing legs such as dead lifts they dont snag and have plenty of room for movement + they look cool too, as for tops if im doing cv work i wear hoodies and get a real sweat on! |

I wear baggies, Vest and big T-shirt. Otomix boots and a belt with the scalps of training partners on it. I odnt see the point of dressing up for the gym however when I go to the posh places like Next Gen or Fitness First I tend not to wear the ones with the inside leg worn out due to cardio and squatting.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: What do you wear to the gym? It's happened before down here. Bunch of boys probably 17-18 like you lot took the **** out of my hair as i was walking past, i was about 100 yards away from them, i just kept walking. A car went past with a few of them in, and shouted my name, so i threw my keys at the car. They stopped and i went straight up to the window shouting who was taking the **** out of my hair then. Three ended up getting out and i just backed off. I can look after myself fine, i can be calm and go nuts, depends on how i feel. This place i live in is tiny and if one thing happens everybody knows, so i know to try and keep a low profile, but sometimes i can't help wanting to kick someones head in. |

There is a big diffrence when walking away and turning your back to avoid confrontation. Like I said Dap, when you said you are a easy target, you are, as you just said it. This tells me that you did not walk up with authority but submissivness. You felt like a easy target before you even approached them. I would have walked up to them and ask them what was so funny. I aint gonna sock a 14 year old anyway but I can so no 14 year olds are going to laugh at me while I walk up to them. They would know that I was not playing around and I would not be a victom. This would be similar to wanting to pet a dog that clearly would bite your hand, it just isnt done. By walking away with your tail between your legs you just confirmed that you are a easy target and will be even more so the next time. You pick your battles and you pick the ones you can win. I do agree what violence solves nothing and can only escilate but, there is a respect issue here and you are not getting it. Thre is a right way to act and a wrong way to act. Next time you see this boy you sit down and have a chat with him on the facts of life.

A few years ago I was in Maccy D's (dont go there anymore) and was getting a burger when a little scrote made some comment about gear deliberately so I could hear. I ordered a small coke and as I walked past I chucked it in his face and said 'anything more to say?' All his mates laughed at him cos really what is he going to do? Its like a bitch slap in his face cos the only retaliation he's got is to hit you and what little kid will do that to an adult? Chucking drinks in peoples faces is the best way to attack someone without getting arrested and inflicting damage. Just expect a fight straight after unless they are little p*ssy holes, which most of these guys are. Funnily enough a similar incident occured in my club on Saturday, quite a tall guy (about 6'3'') made some comment to me about gear and by happy chance I had a plastic bottle of water in my hand. ![]() I cant write any more info though sorry. ![]()

But I wear a vest and tracky bottoms feels alright but just really hot sometimes especially when doing upper body but I think t-shirts are restrictive and some times become tight if i am lying on the bench wrong in the middle of a rep :O Which is never good! I wear gloves too or my hands get the crap shredded out of them |
