Tattoo Removal

Hi folks,

Has anyone heard of a tattoo removal procedure where a fluid is injected to disolve the tattoo ink. I saw it on dragons den about 2 years and was wondering if its still around and if its any good.

Thanks

Re: Tattoo Removal

Yes it is still visible as a faint white scar, but much more easily lived with than the stupid tat I had.

Re: Tattoo Removal

You can get stuff called tittannic acid (not sure of exact spelling) that you basically tattoo over the tattoo again and it forms a black scab, once it falls off the tattoo is gone...it works by attacking the ink molecules and dissolving them, although the few examples that I've seen have left faint lines and the tat has slightly resembled a scar.
I want to get laser treatment for the one on my ear, under my eye, knuckles and thumb..
I like all my others but these were done when I was 13 with indian ink, and I want to get rid before my lad grows up and thinks it's a good idea...lol

How big was the tattoo & how much are you looking at for 12 sessions if you dont mind me asking?

The reason I ask is because I have got 2 on my back that I am keen to get rid of, I have done some research but price wise I have come up with nothing.

Cheers

Re: Tattoo Removal

a friend of mine at uni said her partner is in the process and hers is about 100 quid a session. I'd rather leave it on to pay that for 12 sessioms lol
