One arm bigger than the other??? - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

Any of you have one arm bigger than the other?

I was going out on Sunday and went to put a shirt on... I couldn't get my left arm through the sleeve - but the right arm went in fine.... I got my wife to measure my arms as this was v.strange - measured up as 17" left 16.5" Right - cold.

Very common. Mine are not the same size either. Close but not the same size.

Yes mate, I suffer from the same problem.

One tip might be your Deadlift grip, if you use underhand/overhand like me that might be one of the main reasons.

Switch your grip and your smaller arm should get up to speed with the other.

I have 1/2 an inch difference between arms as well.

So has my mate and he is allways looking in the mirror and moaning about it.

if the tricep is bigger on one arm then you need to work on the arm with the smaller tricep. if the smaller arm has a bigger bicep then you need to work on the arm with the smaller bicep, vice versa.

Yea dont go so heavy. Stick to more reps.

Dont do so many warm up sets. :p Get a spotter.
