![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | An update: http://www.epitan.com.au/IRM/content/melanotan.html The Australians are developing this drug which will produce a proper tan without the need for uv. It stimulates the body into producing melanin, so it will even give you protection against uv's harmful effects (which is the point of the drug (ie to cut Australia's skin cancer levels)). It'll even allow people who can't usually tan to develop one. |

| It's not just a good product though Panthro, it's revolutionary, if it does what it says...think about it, everyone is going to want it, wouldn't you pick a tanning pill over risk of skin cancer which is rapidly increasing, sun burn ruining holidays, wrinkles at 30? It'll hit the worldwide market by storm. If they keep the patent to themselves, it'll be like another Microsoft! people will be opting for this over suncream, however it's not recommanded, but people are stupid, this product will confuse them into thinking that. You can pop a pill before you go on holiday, which people do, they shove on fake tan before they go, to get that 'I've been two weeks' look, I'm going to look into it more, see how advanced the testing is, and the results...if all is right, I'm pumping a few grand into it. It's only a couple of years away from launch, at the moment I suspect shares will rising steadly, then sky rocket shortly after the product is introduced, I've seen it happen many times, this might just be the thing I need to become a millionaire, if I'm wrong, I will accept my fate, and move on. |

In the States there are massive companys that spray on the tan. At $35.00 a spray that is expensive. Only lasts like a month max. How about sun tanning machines. Very popular here too and this runs like about $6.00 a visit. I was considering it myself as I am going to the river this Thursday until Monday. Need some protection though as it gets 115-125 degrees there.

According to the site, if you'd invested $10,000 3 years ago, it would be worth over $120,000 now. But Panthro is of course right to be cautious. "The value of your investments can go down as well as up..." or something like that. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() | yeah, and dont i know it, i worked within the stockbroking industry for a while.. still do actually.. trust me, past means absolutly f-all! and if it was that good, im sure many more people would have invested and the shares would not be too liquid with large bid-offer spreads.. ;) it is a pharma company with many other products, some of which incur massive R&D expenditure and may well turn out to be donkeys, which will give huge write downs and vanishing profits.. all emerging companies are all HIGH risk, otherwise we'd all be millionaires.. maket efficiency my dear watson... |
