are all pros blessed with superior genetics ,who in your opinion had poor genetics but made pro status ? he hasnt got to be a champion just a pro who really had to work his ticket,for me richie gaspari comes to mind he was fairly narrow shouldered and blocky waist but look at the vascularity and conditioning wow,lets have your opinions fellas.

I think it's hard to give an answer as to "which pro has the worst genetics". Personally I would say most, if not all, are all genetically gifted.

However, I would say that some pro's try to add too much mass & simply look "blocky". One may then say "he has poor genetics" which I disagree with as they simply may have lost their nice aesthetic shape. One pro which immediately springs to mind is IFBB pro Mike Sheridan. He had an amazing physique in his amateur days, now in the aftermath of adding a ton of mass to his frame, imo he looks blocky.

I think most pros have had to work past thier genetic "Potential" look at Lee Priest for example how he attained arms like that is testament to being able to beat genetics.

No one bodybuilder was blessed in every department genetically.

i think you would be surprised at how gifted most of the pros really are for example i went to the 91 olympia in orlando (dorians first olympia) ronnie coleman was then a junior and he was acting as door security that day but even then he had 20-21 inch arms he,d get a pump combing his hair !!,most trainers in gyms are not genetically superior,i think also that you have to have the disposition to take fairly big amounts of gear.

It is common thought, that shape and proportion wise, Dorian possesed probably the worst genetics of any pro!!!. Dorian had to work especially hard to overcome his flaws and to compensate by over developing other bodyparts......saying that, if you had to name a bodybuilder with a genetically gifted back, look no further than Dorian!!

I'd have to agree in that if you look at Dorian, technically he's not that genetically gifted apart from say his back and calves, he has, compared to most of the competitors he competed against, relatively short muscle belly's. However, his mindset was in a league of its own and this coupled with his genetics and drive set him apart from the rest.

Genetics or not one cannot deny he built an awesome physique with what he was blessed with and even as an amateur he showed tremendous potential so it just goes to show.
