sore inner quad

was reading an article about solving knee joint pain in men's health(anyone with knee problems should check it out)it said how outer quad being much stronger than inner quad can cause the pain,so to make sure inner quad r up to scratch.i trained them 3 days ago,and already they've grown so that my legs r rubbing together when i walk, meaning i'm really sore by the end of the day,and i have sore strecthmarks on my inner quads also so this is making them hurt also.the only way to stop them rubbing together is to walk john wayne style,as if i've just sh*t myself.not v.stylish.all i did when training them was 5 sets of hip adductor(or is it abductor?)and it caused my inner quads to go red from the pump i got.that normal?anyway, what should i do?will they go back down again?is there a way to train for strength without adding any size?

thanks guys

Well, squats will pretty much do the whole leg. Trying to control the weight (legs supporting the weight from a side to side movement) will help the inner quad.
My legs rub together like yours.
It is all about tracking of the knees. Do you walk feet out or feet in?
Do your hamstrings overpower the quads?
Allignment is key here. I know guys that have worn out the inside of the knee from being heavy.
Great exercise is going into a pool and just kicking your legs. Do this with your belly down and your belly up. Hams and quads with good knee development.
Sorry I cant be more help.
