How much do you sleep? You can be tired from too little sleep, or too much sleep. What about your diet? What you eat also plays a factor. Make sure you're getting all your nutrients. I feel better with THROTTLE MATRIX everyday, being a graduate student, I have to put in long hours of research late at night and Throttle Matrix keeps my mind focused. Have a look at their site myochem.com. I don’t know what I would do without it.

UNPAID PLUG ALERT!!!!

Ok Mr Clayton, (or may I call you Braden? ), assuming the first request is kosher, watch your carbs - too few will DEFFO make you feel sluggish - I suffer likewise. Not to mention irritable and more apt to spending otherwise free time hunting down posters who innocently want a free ad for their products.

Keep hydrated, and keep rested. I have recently discovered that the biggest mistake hard-working guys make is that they train hard, work hard, play hard - all well and good so far - but then go home at midnight and watch CSI till 2am instead of having the self-discipline to hit the sack at 10.30.

Bodybuilding involves sacrifice - and large chunks of your recreation time is one of them.

Best of luck with the sales drive,

Keyser.

Very well spotted Keyser.

What a gimp using two different user names. One to ask the question, & the other to suprisingly answer it. That quote at the end of the answered question by 'Clayton' was superb - 'I don't know what I would have done without it'....:jerk:

Re: Feel tired advices please!

I was going to start another thread for this, but issue already under discussion... I am KNACKERED... thyroid/ propensity for diabetes/ poor sleep pattern/ overtraining.... who knows... easiest thing would be to take a week off and rest...yes, but how do you force yourself to do that?

have already been to the doctor... he was no help... though strangely enough my sister has an overactive thyroid and sleeps 4 hrs a night... she works her day job then cleaning her house like she's on eph or something!

Nyways...I think I am overly reliant on caffeine tabs only cos once I read a post on another BBF (T-Nation or animalPak ... cant recall) and the suggestion was never to train legs unless you'd had a solid 6 hrs the night before (i.e. sleep!), and if you'd felt tired, just down some caffeine tabs and hit it hard.. I presume by that they meant the squat rack and not my bed

I take a week off one every 4 months as I recover from a cold...typically caught from one of my snotty nosed kids..

I get one day a week when I am fine.(typically saturday!).. but still take caff tabs, if only for what is probably a placebo effect

I know that I should cycle caffeine or any such stimulant... some guys have suggested guarana... any ideas?
