Gyms in Watford - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

I am going to be in Watford tomorrow night so i need a place to train anyone know of a decent gym there???

A cousin of mine used to train at the David Lloyd in Bushey (just off A41). He was primarily interested in cardio, but had a friend who worked there who might be if use.

Let me know if you're interested & I'll get more info.

Paul where about in Watford mate? If its in the center then there is a gym right by the main 'strip', used to be called Sportz Acadamy but i think its changed name. It's a bit of a poncy gym but it has all the weights and bars etc just a few bird to look at too

St albans is only a 10min drive which has a proper gym, or my fav is the Works in barnet which is about 25min drive away.

cheers guys i am staying at the Ramada on the A41 so not sure on closest gym to there i will check when i get there...

The David Lloyd's about 20 sec's drive form the A41, but there's a Seb Coe place on the A41 itself.

ramada and hilton both have gyms

david lloyd is just round the corner

in the high street theres a pukka gym in underground car park

theres also a gym at the cricket club....not too bad either....

i didnt mate i worked until 2.00am

but the hotel had a Seb Coe gym shame i did not get to use it
