The food is soooooo bland...at the moment i have had to bring in my own salt as they dont put any in the food!! Even the chips on a Friday are horrible!! AArrgghhhhhhhhhh......Sorry its lunchtime and i just felt like a moan!! hehe |

| UK-Muscle Moderator | Re: Jamie Flaming Oliver Problem is Nikie is most of its processed and tastes like ****e. The so called cooks cant actually cook anything they just take it out the pack and bang it in the oven. To be fare though its not the cooks fault its the fault of the council who run the schools. They should be after more money for the kids food and freshly made food everyday. If people just take the time and care about what there cooking it would taste so much better and be alot better for the kids. |

Previously the processed muck had salt already in, so now it has to be bland because of another retarded g'vmt legislation and as RD says, the cooks are trained to heat not really cook. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Jamie Flaming Oliver The whole point is because of the Government and Jamie Olivers new healthy scheme, salt (which is a main ingredient to season food) is not allowed to be added... I have 5 Jamie Oliver cook books and i never get round to bloody cooking from them....half term next week, so i think i will be in the kitchen with my pinny and rolling pin....whoo hoo!! I miss not having the time to cook properly since moving away. |
