  |  Wind Damage??? No not a thread about too much protein damaging your calvins but was just wondering how much damage peoples property/place of work etc has suffered in recent days? Awoke this morning to find the back fencing flyin around the garden and the trees **** end up. Could have been a whole lot worse granted but hassle i could do without.:(

  | Re: Wind Damage??? No damage, but spent 18 hours stuck on the M6 due to thelwall viaduct being closed.....at least I had a bunk to sleep in though.....and got a day off for it on full pay......was narked off though......but at least I wasn't blown over like my pal was

| Re: Wind Damage??? Wow, I had no idea you guys deal with high winds there. I think it has something to do with global warming myself. This year Seattle Washington snowed and had 100 mile an hour winds, first time in history that happened. We also set a new record last week for being the coldest in like 100 years. That night it got down to 31 degrees and that is about 20 degrees below normal.

I got out the car and thought hope everything is ok, the front wall was fine, had my two chimney's pointing towards the moon so that was ok, went to bed.... Woke up in the morning and opened my curtains......OMG, I had two trees over, three fence pannels, all me garden chairs and tables spread all over, next doors wheelie bins and half a shed left......still at least my roof is still on!
