I can sympathize mate, I did the both bones in my left wrist playing rugby when I was 15. Don't get too down about it mate I'm sure you'll be back in no time, I remember my Dad made me buy a squash ball when the cast came off and squeeze it repeatedly for 10mins to build up the strength - it worked great. Keep eating clean and don't stop your cardio, you can still train your legs! Best of luck, Jock

Anything longer obviously your body will notice your not training. However; if you were to eat 5 burger kings a day and did nothing you wouldn't be preserving your muscle mass, but eating clean & continue as you were will not do your body any harm.

I've broken my right hand a few times, and just did db curls, one arm press etc. If your gym has machines, like Hammer, then you can even do one arm bench press, it wont be ideal, but better than nothing. I was able to put pressure on it after 3-4 weeks, a bit more each day. I did not have a cast though, so that may restrict you a bit? | |

I can't use ice easily as its in plaster. I'm taking ibuprofen for the pain, are there any foods, remedied to reduce swelling as then i can take the cast off myself. |
