Apple Ipod Nano 4GB - £1.50 Comp???

I am trying to gauge interest into a competition I have planned for the new year. (Not sure where the comp would run as yet or even if it will)

How many people here would consider entering a competition to win an Apple Ipod Nano 4GB (£129.00 Retail Price) for £1.50 paid by txt message?

The competition rules would be similar to that you here on the radio based on the lowest unique bid.

You would text COMP 139 to bid £1.39 for example and the lowest unique entry received would win the prize for the amount bid.

Like I say, just trying to gauge interest to see roughly who would be interested.

Cheers

I don't get the lowest unique bid bit to be honest....but I'd probably be up for it....probably have more luck winning that than a game of friggin' poker...lol

Re: Apple Ipod Nano 4GB - £1.50 Comp???

Ill try to answer both replies above in one go

Basically if you id 1p and noone else who enters bids 1p but bid other amounts then yours is the lowest bid that is unique (noone else has bid that amount with you) and you win.

The only cost is your TXT message and whatever you bid so if you did win with 1p the Ipod would have cost you £1.51. (£129 RRP)

These things are all over telly.

Lowest unique bid wins.

All depends on how many people you can get to do it. You would need at least 100 people to text to even think about doing it.

Waste of time imho - The big boys are already doing it all over the TV
