    | DVD Convertors Hello Gang Anyone know of any decent AVI -> DVD convertors used to convert downloaded movies into DVD format so they can be played on the DVD player  Not that I have done this myself as its highly illegal, Im just asking for a friend. My friend told me that he downloaded Superman Returns the other day and it took over 8 hours to convert the AVI file to the DVD. He wants to know if there is better software that can do this quicker? If you post your answers here, i`ll be sure to pass the info on ;)

| Nero 7 does is perfect, or you could use clone2dvd

| DVD Santa is pretty good Thats what i use and its only a little program. Let me know ill sort you out with the setup file (2.1mb) It will also hard burn subtitles into the movie aswell if you have the subtitle file.

| roxio dvd creator 8 (or 9, can't remember what latest one is) does it great, there is a feature called DivX2DVD where it uses the Div-X codec to render avi's and other formats direct to DVD takes about half the real time plus 10 minutes to burn the dvd should do new Superman in about 40 mins |

 | Re: DVD Convertors As the_gre8t_1ne says, nero 7. I have used most of the ones mentioned here and nero 7 seems to be the most reliable for me without crashing, as winavi does quite often on my pc. Works well using nerovision when converting from divx/xvid.
