I know where your coming from Paul - when I spent a week in hospital it really hit home what I was doing to myself with gear - the infection was the least of my worries - my general health was really bad - and I had a pregnant wife and a daughter to think about.
From there ive made steps to sort my self out diet and exerceise wise which I neglected for a lot of years. Hell im down to 16.5st from 18st now and I feel and look a 100 times better.
I still take gear but after this cycle I think Im going to take quite alot of time off and try to convince myself I dont need them anymore, which will be the hardest part since I love taking them lol.
But knowing myself quite well - I'll probably come off for a couple of months and then go back on - doh!

Great input from everyone here.

Im really undecided what to do about it all after this cycle.

There are so many more plus's than negatives when it comes to cycles.

I love being on a cycle
I love the feeling of being on a cycle
I love the strength of being on a cycle
I love my look when im on a cycle
I love being able to eat what i want, when I want when on a cycle
I love the extra confidence when on a cycle
I love the pump when on a cycle

Im not worried about short term side effects of gear - These come and go, and are not a problem to me at all, never really suffered with much on cycle.

My familys health history is pretty good - No cancer in the family, either side. Not really any heart problems either side.

My family is pretty strong when it comes to illness - None of us really ever get ill (apart from my mum who is classed as disabled due to rhumatiod atheritus)

I dont know why Im worried about it all so suddenly, i really dont.

Im not planning on having kids, getting married or anything yet.

Dunno - Wierd - I value all your input tho.

i get a bit twitchy with it all sometimes,.....

i go thru phases of "god whats goin on inside me??"

then a few days later i,m like, "let me at it!"

just lately tho, i been thinking like you Paul,

and its funny cos it only takes one comment on here and you get lads coming out of the woodwork agreeing with you,......

my long term plans dont include using for too much longer,...and i was chatting to a few of the lads last night in the gym.....

my realistic route would be,................

1. diet down, as if prepping for a show, but not as hard.......
2. get used to the lighter feeling for a bit, ie. come to terms mentally with being smaller.
3. console myself with the fact i,m in decent nick.....and focus on the condition rather than bulk,....
4. altho i,m a tad too old, get back into a spot of thai boxing or another interesting MMA,.....

Edit- I've been anti-steroid from Day 1 - the topic came up, and I contributed. I've never shyed from letting the pro-steroid lobby have it with both barrels when I want.

Mate you were holding mint size and condition when I saw you and you had been off for a good while then. No reason why you couldnt hold that naturally , you may lose a bit of detail but as is. Id be more than happy to 'retire' with that kind of phisique.
