| Sexy Moderator | Whos struggling to eat in this heat? Hello Gang Whos finding it really hard to eat lots in this heat? Im finding it well hard to get enough "clean" calories down my throat at the moment. Get to my office at 8.30 in the morning and its already like 25 degrees, the last thing on my mind is eating eggs! Infact, I almost threw up the other morning, just thinking about having to force 10 scrambled eggs down my throat. At nights, even at 9pm+ its to hot to stand and make anything but salads etc. Dont get me wrong, I do like the heat and love the sun, but really am struggling to get large amounts of food down. |

is endo not an excuse to have high BF  surely if i was 30%BF i'd be and endo 10% meso and if i was anorexic people would say i'm a ecto.... everyone is pretty much built the same imo.... if u got a group of men between 20&40 that have never trained same height and all 12% BF they would look almost identical imo | |

Eat more meaty soups. You can fix a big pot full at the beginning of the week and not have to cook for the whole week other than heat it up in a microwave. I know this idea is not popular, but if you aren't competing -- EAT MORE fruit, like cataloupe, peaches, apricots, nectarines, strawberries, watermelon, red grapes early in the morning. Cumcumbers and tomatoes with nuts in a vinagerette!! Lots of liquid and good food to eat. |

Breaks down like this, and bear in mind, I'd think about 80% people are a MIX of the following categories: Ecto - finds it hard to gain either LMT or flab, poor appetites. Meso - the luckiest of the bunch. In pretty good shape before ever having done any exercise/planned dieting. Finds it easy to gain LMT regardless of diet and exercise. Does not put on fat readily, regardless of appetite. Endo - finds it hard to gain LMT and to lose flab. Powerful appetites, but these usually work against them. Like I said, these are the three BASICS, obviously most parents, hence grandparents, hence YOU are a mix of the three. This usually turns out as ecto/meso, or endo/meso. Both my parents are meso/endos, but my mothers father was a tall ecto/meso. The moral of the story? If you want champion kids, marry champion spouses... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Keyser: I do beg to differ with you about champion children. I think you put too much emphasis on labels and catagories, conveniently forget your sliding scales when it suits your purpose, and pigeonhole the diversity of the gene pool and wonder of creation of life in its cornucopia of gene combinations. I think you limit yourself sometimes with your neat orderly quantification of life. Watch the movie Auntie Mame sometime. I do so love her free spirit. There is more to being a champion than body types and genetics. If you think genetics alone then you have to consider recessive genes that actually may combine and create a better champion than anything dominant. I think a champion is self-made and can be from any body type. It is a matter of commitment and discipline, good eating habits and life-style. I'm a meso but 7 years ago you'd think I was an endo because I got into some bad eating habits and life-style. I have to agree with DB about a group of men with the same body fat looking the same and could be thought of as all mesos. ![]() Last edited by Peg; 28-07-2006 at 06:22 PM. |

I only have one solid meal at home... my other solid meals are consumed in an air conned office which prob helps a bit. R |
